Founder
A former newsperson with the Associated Press, Maria Coder has been writing for a near decade. Her business and feature articles have appeared in USA Today, Newsday, The Daily News, The Boston Globe, The Orlando Sentinel and many other newspapers. Ms. Coder's book reviews have been read throughout the United States and past comments can be found on the jackets of books that filled The New York Times bestsellers list. She is the founder of Redefining Pink, a former online magazine aimed at empowering women.
Aside from her work in print and online media, Ms. Coder was previously Studio Supervisor at Times Square Studios in New York City. She oversaw national television productions like Good Morning America, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, ESPN shows, and many others. She also managed corporate events for Fortune 100 clients and has worked with countless celebrities, politicians, and authority figures. Ms. Coder has also produced TV newscasts for ABC-TV affiliates, hosted a Spanish-language talk show for WKDM-AM, written for NY-1 TV news and worked behind-the-scenes at WCBS-AM radio.
A graduate from Emerson College, Ms. Coder holds a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communication with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism. She is an avid writer and skilled interviewer. Her research skills are unmatched.
Today, Ms. Coder splits her time between New York City and New Orleans. A world traveler, fluent in Spanish, she spends a lot of time helping foreign speakers present themselves and their businesses in English.
